I couldn’t be more surprised and taken aback when I was nominated for yet another award by @stralthy!
As I mentioned in my previous post (Versatile Blogger Award), my blog isn’t even a month old and I am completely overwhelmed by the amount of support from the blogging community.
@Stralthy is a dental student who blogs about beauty, food and everyday things. Her blog, also called Stralthy, is full of good reading content. The food pictures and recipes are enough to instill an instant craving for food and I just love reading her blog. You should really go check it out!
My favorite recipe of hers so far is Vegan Banana and Cranberry Muffins.

So without further ado, here are my answers to the questions:
1 . What’s your zodiac sign? Do you identify with it?
My birthday is on 2 April 1989, hence I am an Aries. I do believe that zodiac signs change over time, and that will mean that I am not necessarily an Aries anymore.. but let’s not get technical and just assume that I am an Aries. I definitely feel I identify with this zodiac sign in most ways. This is mostly a good thing, but because Arians have such strong personalities it could sometimes cause problems in interpersonal relationships.
2 . Name two books that truly impressed you?
Number one is definitely The Prophet – Kahlil Gibran.
It’s a book consisting of 26 prose poetry fables. It’s been translated into over 40 languages and has never been out of print. If each and everyone of us could live by that book, the world would be a much better place. It’s definitely an eye opener and I loved that it was not based on one specific religion.
Number two was a difficult choice as I have many favorites, but seeing that I had to choose, I decided to go with The Handmaids Tale – Margaret Atwood. From the moment I started reading this book, I couldn’t put it down. I read it before I watched the series and I am so glad I did! Watching the series was like watching the images of my own imagination come alive and it was just brilliant.
3 . Tell me about 3 apps from your phone that you think are very useful
Canva – Best app ever! So many templates to choose from, whether you want to design an invite or a facebook banner, they’ve got it all. This is possibly the best design app that I have ever come across.
Snapseed – Photo editing app. This is not your average photo editing app though, it’s got lots of cool features to add a professional touch to your photos.
Twitter App – Don’t know if this counts as an app, but it’s what I spend most of my time on. I had twitter before I started my blog and I absolutely hated it! This time round I love it so much and all of a sudden Facebook is just so boring.
4. How did you come up with your blog name?
From a very young age I knew that I was different in the sense that I couldn’t get myself to commit to only one thing at a time. I have way too many interests to settle for one field in the way specialists do. I fantasize about being able to study anything and everything, which is obviously impossible. This always stressed me out in the sense that I always felt as though I didn’t have life figured out like my peers. I came across a word to describe myself, Multipotentialite. A Multipotentialite is someone with many interests and creative pursuits. I thought this would be perfect for my blog, and that’s why I decided to call it “Thoughts Of A Multipotentialite“.
5. Do your friends/family know about your blog? If yes, what do they think about it, if no,why did you decide to keep it private?
I’m a very open person, I literally cannot keep anything to myself. So the moment I decided to start my blog I phoned my partner. Some of my friends/family know about the blog and they think it’s pretty cool that I started it.
6. If you could skip the next 5 years, would you do it? Explain your answer.
Noooooo I definitely wouldn’t. Life is going by way too fast already. If I skipped it, it would mean that I’m 35 years old and I’m definitely not ready for that just yet. I love the my life right now as for the first time in years, I am in a great space.
7. Which animal do you wish you could transform into and why?
Definitely a bird. I don’t like birds by the way, I hate birds. I hate all flying and crawling animals. But I would love to be as free as a bird. Or a cat, because they have wonderful, chilled lives.
8 . Favorite quote?
“You are exactly where you’re supposed to be in this exact moment in time” – A very wise woman I know
9 . What did you dream to be when you were little?
To be honest, a lot of things. A doctor, a teacher, a singer, a writer, a beautician, a surgeon, a psychologist and a lawyer.. lol.
10 . Any advice you would like to share with smaller bloggers?
First of all, I thought I was pretty small, but apparently I’m seen as a blogger who can share advice, which is pretty cool. I’d say, just make sure you engage with other bloggers! Social Media is very important in getting your blog up and running. Make time for PR! The blogging community is extremely supportive and you will get better advice from them than from Google.
11 . Answer truly, Are you happy?
For the first time in my life, YES, I am extremely happy and content with where I am in life. I have not achieved half as much as I wanted to, but I have experienced so much self-growth in the last two years. Self-growth has been the most rewarding experience in my life so far and I wouldn’t change anything about my past, because that made me who I am today.
I am so humbled by this nomination and I am grateful for every single one of you for reading my posts. I nominate the following bloggers:
My 11 questions:
1 . Where do you see yourself in 5 years from now?
2. What social stigma does society need to get over?
3. What are your views on religion?
4. What is your lucky number and why?
5. Why did you start blogging?
6. Name 3 things that bring you happiness in everyday life?
7. What genre of music do you enjoy?
8. Do you think aliens exist?
9. When do you blog? During the day or in the evenings?
10. Can you play a musical instrument?
11. Do you speak any other language than English? If yes, which language/s?
I have decided to break my rules a little bit by adding another nominee to my list. I have not included her in the rest of the list because she is my absolute favorite and has been such a positive light in my blogging adventure. I nominate @teliateanna for this award as well.
Thank you for reading this post, I will be looking forward to reading your answers in your Sunshine Blogger Award posts!
